Over 1.3 million heroes have died serving our country since it was founded. Memorial Day, or Decoration Day as it is also known, is a day to honor those veterans who have fallen. Decorating the graves of soldiers has been a popular practice since the Civil War, and we do so as a remembrance to the patriots who have sacrificed their lives protecting our nation.
Please join us in Columbia Station, OH on Monday May 28 as we pay tribute to the heroes who have gone before us.
Ceremonies begin at 11 am as a parade steps off from Columbia High School and proceeds to the cemetary on West River Road; just north of Royalton Road (Route 82). Hope to see you there!
Please mark your calendars for the Columbia Homecoming Festival from June 28-30. The event takes place at Columbia Park, Columbia Station.
Thanks for reading...thanks for giving...and most of all, keep our troops and Veterans in your thoughts and prayers.
